This is a popular choice for those who prefer a more subtle aesthetic or whose off-roading style doesn't typically require pivoting around tight obstacles like trees, where a kick out is most beneficial.
+ Can I still use these as a step?

Yes, the main tube of the slider is strong enough to be used as a step to access the roof. However, because of the upward angle and lack of a top plate, it does not provide as wide or stable of a stepping surface as our flat slider models. Its primary design focus is protection and clearance.
+ Will these sliders fit my 4Runner with the KDSS suspension system?

Yes, they will. These sliders are specifically designed and tested to be fully compatible with all 5th Gen 4Runner models, whether they are equipped with the KDSS (Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System) or the standard suspension.
+ Bare metal or powder coat: which finish should I choose?
