The Problem & The Solution:The Pain: Most Gladiator sliders are body-mounted, meaning hard impacts can flex the slider into your rocker panels, causing the very damage you tried to prevent. Additionally, the long wheelbase of the JT makes the center and bed area vulnerable to high-centering.
The Turn Offroad Solution: We use Grade 10.9 self-threading bolts that cut directly into the ¼″ steel frame rails. This creates a solid-state connection that supports the full vehicle weight on hard hits.

Body-mount sliders attach to the tub of your Jeep. In a hard impact, they flex upward into your rocker panels. Frame-mounted sliders attach to the 1/4" steel chassis, transferring all energy into the frame and providing zero-flex protection for the body tub.
No welding is required. The system uses a proprietary self-threading Grade 10.9 bolt that anchors into the frame. While you will be threading into the frame rails, the "bolt-on" nature makes it a DIY-friendly 2-3 hour install using standard hand tools.
Yes. Because these are anchored to the frame rails and made from 3-5mm reinforced steel, they are strong enough to support the vehicle's weight and can be used as a jack point with a Hi-Lift jack in off-road recovery situations.
