Features an effortless clamping system that attaches directly to your OEM hardtop. Zero drilling, zero modifications, and no headliner drops required.
Engineered with a unique 90-degree bend in the 5052 aluminum panels, maximizing durability to achieve superior rigidity and a 360-degree mounting surface.
Pairs perfectly with the patented Pak Rax system (sold separately) to route cargo weight directly to the vehicle's body, protecting your fragile MIC hardtop.
Open-Air Freedom. No-Drill Install. 100% Bolt-On.
Strength, Innovation, and FreedomLove the open-air freedom of your Ford Bronco but hate having to choose between that and bringing your gear along? Are you concerned about overloading your MIC Hardtop or dealing with a bulky rack that restricts your ability to easily remove the front roof panels?
The struggle to find a versatile, strong, and intelligently designed cargo solution ends now. The TrailRax Modular Half Rack is engineered for the weekend warrior who refuses to compromise, offering the perfect balance of utility and the iconic open-air Bronco experience.
Why TrailRax Built the Half Rack:The Pain: Full-length roof racks block the removal of the Bronco's front and middle hardtop panels, forcing you to give up the very reason you bought a Bronco in the first place—open-air driving.
The TrailRax Solution: An innovative "Half Rack" design that mounts exclusively to the rearmost section of the MIC hardtop. This allows you to carry essential gear over the rear while retaining the ability to quickly pop off the front and middle panels whenever the sun comes out.
Key Features: TrailRax Half Rack
Covers only the rear portion of the MIC hardtop, allowing incredibly easy removal of the front and middle panels for an open-air driving experience.
The side panels feature TrailRax's signature 90-degree bend, drastically increasing structural strength while providing a 360-degree versatile mounting area.
Simple bolt-on hardware clamps securely to the OEM Ford hardtop. No permanent drilling or headliner drops required.
Features anodized black T-slot extrusions precision-cut in Utah for high stress and deflection ratings, ensuring maximum load capacity.
Built entirely from premium 3/16" 5052 aluminum and stainless steel hardware for superior corrosion resistance in all weather conditions.
Designed to pair seamlessly with the patented Pak Rax system to connect the rack to the Bronco's body, drastically increasing your load capacity.
Adding only 3.845" from the center of the hardtop, this rack maintains an aggressive, streamlined look that fits easily in standard garages.
TrailRax stands completely behind their engineering. Enjoy total peace of mind on the trail with a manufacturer's lifetime warranty.
The Pak Rax AdvantageDon't let storage limitations dictate your adventures. The Half Rack is your ticket to carrying everything you need for the trail, the beach, or the campsite.
When paired with the optional Pak Rax system, this setup becomes incredibly strong. The Pak Rax connects the roof rack directly to the Bronco’s body, redistributing weight away from the fragile MIC hardtop. This reduces roof stress and allows for a significantly higher load rating than standard factory racks.
150 lbs Dynamic Load* 300 lbs Static Load* 3.845" Added Height Lifetime Warranty

Not at all. The TrailRax Modular Half Rack is completely bolt-on. You won’t need to drop the headliner — just remove a few interior plastic panels to access the mounting points, and clamp it securely to the MIC top.
No! That is the primary benefit of the Half Rack design. Because it mounts only to the rearmost section of the MIC hardtop, you have complete, unobstructed access to easily remove your front and middle roof panels for open-air driving.
When paired with the Pak Rax system, the half rack safely offers a static load rating of 300 lbs and a dynamic load rating of 150 lbs when evenly distributed. This makes it perfect for storage cases, recovery gear, and heavy expedition equipment.
Absolutely. The side panels are made from American 5052 aluminum, the crossmembers are anodized aluminum, and the mounting hardware is stainless steel—ensuring long-lasting, completely rust-free performance.

Prop 65 Warning- Product may contain chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm. For more information, go to www.P65Warnings.ca.gov
Proposition 65 is a California law passed in 1986. Its goals are to protect drinking water sources from toxic substances that may cause cancer and birth defects and to reduce or eliminate exposures to those chemicals generally, for example in consumer products, by requiring warnings in advance of those exposures.
The regulation requires the State of California to revise and republish yearly a list of chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer or birth defects or other reproductive harm. The current list contains over 900 naturally occurring and synthetic chemicals. This regulation also requires manufacturers to place warnings on products that contain any of the chemicals listed by the State of California. No other states require warnings of this nature, and products with Prop 65 warning language are legal to sell in all states. Detailed information regarding requirements for compliance to the California Prop. 65 is can be found at: www.P65Warning.ca.gov
We get it. You've got a lot of choice when it comes to online retailers.
Here's why we think you should shop with us at ExtrailAuto.
They were willing and able to quickly fix a mistake I made when I realized I selected the wrong version after submitting my order. The half rack with paxrax was a simple and straightforward installation that I was able to do in my apartment parking spot. The rack is solid, well-built, and sexy! High marks all around!
Beautifully engineered and built. Definitely the best rack out there! Get lots of compliments too ;)
Outstanding product & amazing customer service. Trailrax exceeded all expectations! I’m new to off-roading and roof racks. I will be back for more product. The Bronco Modular Half Rack w/ Pak Rax has endless possibilities and looks GREAT! Installation was easy, although I did seek help from my mechanic w/ the “fender bolt” specs to be sure I wasn’t over tightening :)
It was kind of crazy getting all of the pieces. The rank came through bringing it all togather(Like a puzzle). We can't wait to test it out on the trails.
Looks great and well built. Only was a little tricky with the clamps and foam cushions getting them to fit just right.
The wait time was more than I anticipated even after seeing the notification of long lead times. I have to give them props for giving some compensation for the excessive wait time. Having slightly larger holes would help with fitment. Had a hard time getting the front drivers side away from the pinch weld. Eventually had to use washers to add space away from the truck. Need to update pictures and instalation video for the new sliders they are now making
All packing and shipment were great, everything was there. I had to contract out the install because of arthritis, it took them two hours and looks perfect. Zero wind noise at any speed 0 to 100.
Absolutely love my new rack and roam cases. Appreciate the Sherpa crew as well for their hospitality while the installation was taking place.
Fit and finish is excellent. Looks great on the Bronco. No whistling noise at all, some additional wind noise over 60mph but not much different than it was without the rack. Assembly was not too difficult. Instructions and videos could be a little better.
The quality and dedication of the team at Sherpa is evident from the very first interaction with them, and is further proven in the product itself. This rack is well engineered, easy to assemble, easy to adjust, and holds up incredibly well with no loosening or rattling or shifting (even after over 200 miles of driving on poorly maintained roads). Currently operating with approximately 180 pounds of gear mounted on the bed rack and no issues at all so far. I expected the vibration to work the bolts loose over time, but every time I check they're all still snug. My only regret is that I didn't pull the trigger and get this rack sooner.
First of all, the team at Sherpa is full of passion for adventure and that passion shows in the quality of their products. This roof rack looks incredible and surprised me with it's sturdiness. No loosening of hardware, even after weeks of driving. Currently holding approximately 80 pounds of gear for everyday driving, plus an additional 110 strapped on top during a camping trip (and I even stood on top of the entire loadout). No warping, bending, twisting, or slipping. The fact that this matches the bed rack perfectly in height is the icing on the cake. Easily serves as a tie off for a tarp, rain fly, hammock, or whatever you need. Perfect for modular campsite setup and quick teardown.
I bought the Sherpa Crestone rack for my 2024 4Runner TRD Pro. Incredibly well-made and excellent design. Spend the extra , to get best roof rack in the market. You won’t regret it.
This is our first roof rack that we are going to use to put a RRT (roof top tent) on for back country trips. Well-built product that came with all the nuts, bolts and washers to complete the installation. Took about 1-1/2 to 2 hours install the rack. You will another person to help place the racks on top of the Jeep for final install. Overall, a great, well-built American product
Install was super easy. The quality was great. Customer service was quick to respond to any issues! I’ve already been getting compliments on it and what brand it is. This will be great for camping this year!
This is on my tundra absolutely solid rack looks fantastic extremely modular, which is why I went this route. I can use the whole rack when traveling and over landing then rock the chase rack only when the rest is not in use, I actually use the recovery traction board mounts for my shower room set up, which works amazingly just relocated the board somewhere shown in picture keep innovating TUWAand I’ll keep purchasing.
Good looking cat shields made of stainless steel with cooling holes. Priced well, easy install, no issues. Would buy again.
Great service from their staff. Robert help me through all the process with a request I had, he responded all emails in a timely manner and provided great help.
We received it within 3 days and installed the same day. Great awning and very well made.
the tent is very nice, comfortable and roomy.
Following the instructions was fairly easy. Its better to have second person to set it up. I really like the tent and the support that from ExtrailAuto. Really recommeded! Thanks

I'm happy with my new racks, it's perfect for that I want.
We are very happy the rack fits the painted roof of our ‘25 Bronco Heritage. Leitner right now might be the only company that makes a rack that fits the painted roof. Typical great Leitner attention to detail

I installed this on my M1102A trailer for organizing my camping gear and mounting my RTT and awning. It was a really easy install and was rock solid containing my gear down rugged dirt roads and washes last week. The sliding rear load bar was great for loading the motorcycles.

I’ve had the full-length rack on my Grenadier for about a year, and it has performed flawlessly. Not only is the design simple and aesthetically pleasing, it is highly practical for carrying any load. I consistently have over 400 lbs mounted on my rack at all times, and even through multiple trips through the washboards of Death Valley at 45 mph, the rack has remained steady and strong, with not one fastener coming loose. I’d buy this rack ten times before I’d consider another brand.
Limited space in bed. Now all my gear sits in the rack above. Made all the difference in what I can fit in this truck!!
needed something low profile but strong. This platform hit it out of the park. Put it on my ARE topper and couldn’t be happier! Assembly instructions could be clearer in showing top versus bottom, but got it together easy enough. Need to show the need for squaring up before mounting. Overall break pleased
