+ Do I have to drill into my vehicle's frame to install these sliders?

Absolutely not. Our rock sliders are designed to be a completely bolt-on application, utilizing the factory mounting points on your vehicle's frame. No drilling or permanent modification is required for installation.
+ Why aren't these sliders compatible with the XREAS suspension system?

The XREAS suspension system, found on some 4Runner and GX460 trims, has hydraulic lines and components that run along the frame rails in the exact location where our sliders need to mount. To avoid damaging this system, our sliders are not compatible with XREAS-equipped vehicles.
+ Can these sliders be used as a step to get into the vehicle?

Yes. While they are designed primarily for protection, the strong outer tube and rear kick-out provide a solid and functional step for accessing the cab or your roof rack. For a dedicated stepping surface, consider adding grip tape.
+ Are these strong enough to use with a Hi-Lift jack?

Definitely. Because they are securely bolted to the strongest part of your vehicle—the frame—they are more than capable of supporting the full weight of the truck. This makes them a safe and reliable lifting point for a Hi-Lift jack during recovery or trailside repairs.
