Please read before purchasing: This panel is NOT compatible with non-Sherpa roof racks. The suction cups require a clean glass surface to adhere properly; they will not work over window decals or vinyl wraps. Note that this panel covers the rear handle of the Sherpa roof rack once installed. MaxTrax mounts, Rotopax mounts, and QuickFists are sold separately.

Frequently Asked Questions

+ Will the suction cups damage my window?

No. The suction cups and rubber spacers are designed to distribute weight evenly and protect the glass surface. As long as the glass is clean during installation, they will not leave permanent marks or scratches.
+ Can I use this with a PrinSu or other rack?

No. The mounting tabs and standoff heights are specifically engineered to bolt onto the side rails of Sherpa Equipment Co. racks only. They will not line up correctly with other brands.
+ What is the weight limit for the side panel?

While the 3/16" aluminum is very strong, the weight limit is largely determined by the glass it rests on. We recommend it for standard accessories like 2gal RotopaX, MaxTrax, and tools. Avoid mounting heavy oversized tires or extremely heavy metal fuel cans.
+ Does it work with window tint?

If your tint is on the inside of the window, it will work perfectly. If you have exterior window film or decals, the suction cups will not adhere properly and may damage the film.
