Frequently Asked Questions
+ What year Sequoia models does this rack fit?
The Sherpa Harvard is specifically designed for the 2nd Generation Toyota Sequoia, which covers all models from 2008 to 2022.
+ Do I really not have to drill into my roof?
That's correct. This rack is 100% drill-free. It utilizes the factory-installed mounting points located under the plastic trim in the roof ditch channels, ensuring a strong, secure, and water-tight fit without any permanent modifications.
+ Is this rack strong enough for a heavy rooftop tent?
Absolutely. With a static (parked) load capacity of 700 lbs, the Harvard is one of the strongest racks on the market and is more than capable of supporting a large rooftop tent, occupants, and additional gear.
+ Will this rack work with my factory sunroof?
As a full-length rack, it will sit above the sunroof. You will still be able to use the tilt function for ventilation, but the view will be obstructed by the crossbars. The modular crossbars can be moved to create a larger viewing area if desired.
Prop 65 Warning- Product may contain chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm. For more information, go to www.P65Warnings.ca.gov
Proposition 65 is a California law passed in 1986. Its goals are to protect drinking water sources from toxic substances that may cause cancer and birth defects and to reduce or eliminate exposures to those chemicals generally, for example in consumer products, by requiring warnings in advance of those exposures.
The regulation requires the State of California to revise and republish yearly a list of chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer or birth defects or other reproductive harm. The current list contains over 900 naturally occurring and synthetic chemicals. This regulation also requires manufacturers to place warnings on products that contain any of the chemicals listed by the State of California. No other states require warnings of this nature, and products with Prop 65 warning language are legal to sell in all states. Detailed information regarding requirements for compliance to the California Prop. 65 is can be found at: www.P65Warning.ca.gov

Following the instructions was fairly easy. Its better to have second person to set it up. I really like the tent and the support that from ExtrailAuto. Really recommeded! Thanks
I love my trailhead roof top tent so much. It is so warm and spacious. Itās very simple to setup and put away. Extremely happy with my purchase. I waited to write a review till I used it multiple times so I could tell if I really liked it or not. Thereās not a thing I would want to change.
We have been on multiple trips with this tent. Its stable and comfortable with a good space for 2+ person to sleep in. Easy to setup and can be taken down under 10 minutes. The tent is waterproof and windproof and can be used during the winter season. Its worth the money and we are overall satisfied with our tent.
Looks great and very easy to install. Fits perfectly with no cutting on my Colorado 5 1/2 ft bed. As I unfolded the cover for the first time and each panel locked in place perfectly, I thought, Wow, that was easy.
