No, there is absolutely no drilling into your truck's frame. The shield uses existing, pre-drilled holes from the factory. A rivet nut tool is simply used to insert a threaded nut into these existing holes, allowing for a strong, secure, and completely reversible bolt-on installation.
+ Can I still access my oil filter and drain plug for maintenance?
