Sleek, secure, and durable–what else could you want? The bakflip-MX4 tonneau cover is a top-of-the-line hard-folding cover engineered for maximum aesthetics, weather resistance, and security.

The bakflip-MX4 is constructed entirely from alloy materials, including heavy-duty aluminum top panels and side rails.

Unlike comparable soft-folding tonneau covers, you can't simply slice through the MX4 with a pocket knife.

No matter the cargo in the bed, you can rest assured that your gear's protected by a premium bed cover from BAK industries.

Full Bed Access

When you need to haul large items, just fold the cover toward your cab and secure it in place with the supplied prop rods.
The prop rods rest in an improved rail clip when not in use and upgraded cab bumpers prevent the cover from scuffing your paint.

Upgraded Side Rails

Channeled rails hold the cover in place while shut. These rails feature rubberized endcaps, which prevent any raw aluminum from being exposed.

Universel Tailgate Functionality

Triple fin seals allow the tailgate to operate whether the cover is open or closed. The cover can be closed with the tailgate up too.

Matte Black Finish

The all new matte black finish offers superior scratch resistance and UV protection.

No Drill Clamp

The MX4 can be installed in less than an hour without drilling into the truck bed.

Easy Operation

Each panel automatically latches to the cover's mounting rails as the cover closes. Latches deactivate with a simple pull of the cable.

Q: Will the 2023 GMC 2500 fit the 2024 GMC 2500?

A: Yes it will

Q: What is recommended to clean and preserve the top?

A: A mild soap and water mixture works best, avoid anything with wax as it can cause a build-up on the cover

Q: The top is a hard cover not soft

A: Correct, the MX4 is a hard-top cover.

Q: Can you fold this up 2/3 of the way and still hook up a gooseneck trailer?

A: On an 8-foot bed yes, anything shorter and it will need to be folded up to the cab.

Q: How does this cover work with carwashes and is t her any noise driving 70 mph down the road ?

A: Touchless carwashes and/or hand washing are recommended. It can be safely driven at highway speeds with no noticeable noise when properly installed.

Q: How much weight can the cover hold?

A: Approximately 400 lbs. evenly distributed.

Q: Is hail damage covered by the warranty?

A: Unfortunately acts of nature are not covered under the standard manufacturer warranty

Q: Can this be opened without lowering the tailgate? For example, sometimes I will go for a swim at the beach and leave my keys in a lockbox in my truck bed so I wouldn’t be able to unlock the tailgate first.

A: Unfortunately not, the way this cover is designed is to "lock" with the tailgate as there is no external lock on this system.

Q: will a 2013 gmc 3500 fit on a 2019 silverado 2500

A: 

Q: I recently had one panel on my Bakflip MX4 damaged by a rock. Can I buy a panel replacement without buying the entire kit?

A: The panels cannot be separated or bought separately, if looking to replace due do damage it would have to be the entire unit.

BAK Industries ("BAK") warrants your bakflip-MX4 hard folding truck bed cover to be structurally free from defects in material and workmanship for 5-Year Limited Warranty period from the retail date of purchase.

Warranty registration must be on file and/or proof of original purchase (detailed and dated receipt) is required for warranty service. Warranty is nontransferable and applies to the original purchaser of the BAK product only.

BAK reserves the right to determine whether a product needs to be repaired or replaced. No labor or service allowance is given or implied. The warranty will be void if the product has been damaged by accident, unreasonable use, neglect, improper service/installation/removal, modifications, acts of God or normal wear and tear or other causes not arising out of defective materials or workmanship.

BAK assumes no liability for injury, loss, incidental or consequential damages. BAK reserves the right to substitute an entire replacement system or provide other remedies than those listed in this warranty for discontinued products or other reasons. Shipping charges will apply for any repair or replacement.

Great Qualty and Super Easy to Install

Cover was super easy install and so far loving it, they only thing i can say is when you are folding it open when you get to the last two its a little on the heavy side which is understandable, installed it on my 2024GMC2500HD AT4

17 GMC Canyon SLE All Terrain

Shortly after I purchased my truck I wanted something that I could secure my golf club and other items that I wanted to keep in the bed. But working at a correctional facility it has to be secure and not easily accessible unlike the soft covers. Im confident that once the tailgate is locked items are hidden from view and secured.

Love It I'm going to get a second one for my other truck

This one fit my 2020GMCCanyon like a glove, easy to install, it is rigid and can be used either full closed or partially folded back, 2 panels of the 3, covering & securing to the 1st panel, so you can put in larger/taller items without having to completely remove the cover.

Solid and waterproof tent!
