BAK Industries ("BAK") warrants your bakflip-MX4 hard folding truck bed cover to be structurally free from defects in material and workmanship for 5-Year Limited Warranty period from the retail date of purchase.
Warranty registration must be on file and/or proof of original purchase (detailed and dated receipt) is required for warranty service. Warranty is nontransferable and applies to the original purchaser of the BAK product only.
BAK reserves the right to determine whether a product needs to be repaired or replaced. No labor or service allowance is given or implied. The warranty will be void if the product has been damaged by accident, unreasonable use, neglect, improper service/installation/removal, modifications, acts of God or normal wear and tear or other causes not arising out of defective materials or workmanship.
BAK assumes no liability for injury, loss, incidental or consequential damages. BAK reserves the right to substitute an entire replacement system or provide other remedies than those listed in this warranty for discontinued products or other reasons. Shipping charges will apply for any repair or replacement.

Proposition 65 is a California law passed in 1986. Its goals are to protect drinking water sources from toxic substances that may cause cancer and birth defects and to reduce or eliminate exposures to those chemicals generally, for example in consumer products, by requiring warnings in advance of those exposures.
The regulation requires the State of California to revise and republish yearly a list of chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer or birth defects or other reproductive harm. This regulation also requires manufacturers to place warnings on products that contain any of the chemicals listed by the State of California. I love this cover. It looks good, Its durable, and it was an easy install that took about 45 minutes. I do recommend a second set of hands or a pair of clamps to assist you. This cover is not recommended for soft tops, however I have had no issues. Great all around product at a reasonable price.
