The Asfir skid plate is designed to fit with the stock bumper. While it is compatible with many aftermarket bumpers that utilize factory mounting locations, some high-clearance bumpers may require slight trimming or spacers. Please verify your bumper's mounting points.
+ Does this plate protect the oil filter and oil pan?

Yes. This front skid plate is specifically designed to cover the front underbody components, including the oil pan area, providing much higher impact resistance than the factory shield.
+ Is the installation really "No Drill"?

Yes. Asfir designs their plates to be 100% bolt-on. It uses existing threaded holes in the frame and the included zinc-coated steel brackets to secure the plate without any permanent modification to your truck.
+ Why choose aluminum over steel for a skid plate?

Aluminum (6mm) offers a similar level of protection to 3/16" steel but is roughly 30-40% lighter. This helps maintain your vehicle's payload capacity and prevents front-end suspension sag. Additionally, aluminum won't rust if the finish is scratched by rocks.
+ Will this fit the 4.6L Tundra engine?

This plate is specifically tested and confirmed for the 5.7L Petrol Automatic models. While the chassis mounting points may be similar, we cannot guarantee fitment on the 4.6L engine due to potential differences in exhaust or oil pan clearance.
