The Asfir 4x4 3-Piece Skid Plate Kit is purpose-built to eliminate the anxiety of off-road exploration. Whether you’re piloting the 3.6L Pentastar Petrol or the high-torque 3.0L EcoDiesel, your underbody is exposed to jagged rocks, stumps, and debris that can end your adventure prematurely.

This skid plate kit uses 1/4" (6mm) laser-cut aluminum reinforced with structural stiffening ribs. It provides the heavy-duty protection of steel without the massive weight penalty, ensuring your Gladiator maintains its performance and fuel efficiency.

+ Is this kit compatible with both Gas and Diesel models?

Yes, but the internal geometry differs. Please select either the 3.6L Gas or 3.0L Diesel option to ensure the mounting brackets and engine plates align with your specific drivetrain.
+ Do I need to drill into my Jeep's frame?

No. This kit is a 100% bolt-on solution. It uses existing factory mounting points, meaning your vehicle's structural integrity and resale value remain intact.
+ Why use aluminum instead of steel?

1/4" aluminum offers the high impact resistance needed for off-roading but at nearly half the weight of steel. It doesn't rust when scratched and doesn't cause the front-end "nose dive" associated with heavy steel armor.
+ Will this kit interfere with my oil changes?

Asfir includes precision-cut drain ports. However, depending on your oil drain tool, some users find it easier to quickly unbolt the front plate for a cleaner maintenance experience.
+ Is the hardware included?

Yes, every kit comes with a full mounting hardware kit including zinc-coated steel brackets and fasteners designed for off-road use.
