Shipping Details

  • Free Shipping: All products ship FREE within the 48 contiguous United States.

  • Freight Shipments:

    • Large items like bumpers ship via truck freight.

    • Customers are encouraged to ship to a business address with a dock or forklift to avoid additional fees.

  • Accurate Shipping Info:

    • Customers must provide correct shipping addresses.

    • Inaccurate or incomplete addresses may incur extra charges (liftgate, residential, limited access, fuel surcharges, delivery notifications).

  • Inspect Before Signing:

    • Inspect shipment thoroughly before signing the bill of lading.

    • Even if no damage is visible externally, open and inspect all packages immediately.

    • Note all damage or shortages on the delivery receipt and inform the freight company to start a claim and request an inspection.

  • Order Issues:

    • If the received product does not match your order, contact ExtrailAuto within 48 hours to resolve the issue.

Warranty Information

Lifetime Structural Warranty

  • Applies to the original purchaser only.

  • Covers:

    • Material and craftsmanship defects that affect the intended use.

    • Products used under normal and proper conditions.

  • Does NOT cover:

    • Improper installation, modifications, abuse, neglect, accidents, corrosion, or normal wear and tear.

  • Remedy:

    • Backwoods may repair or replace the product after inspection.

    • Warranty excludes freight, labor, installation, incidental/consequential damages, and vehicle downtime costs.

Powder Coat Warranty

  • 60-day warranty for powder coat finish.

  • Covers:

    • Defects, reasonable scratches or gouges due to shipping or handling.

  • Maintenance Tip:

    • In salty climates, rinse components regularly to avoid corrosion.

  • Touch-Up:

    • Use Krylon Fusion Textured Black Spray Paint for a close match to the original powder coat.

Warranty Submission Requirements

  • Must include:

    • Written description of the damage and how it occurred.

    • Original invoice at time of purchase.

  • Warranty Process:

    • Backwoods will inspect the returned item.

    • If approved, they will repair or replace the item at no cost, within a reasonable time frame.

Return Policy & Restocking Fee

  • 30% Restocking Fee applies to all returned products.

  • Returns are only accepted within 30 days of customer receiving the product.

  • All returned items are subject to inspection before any refund is processed.
