No. The HydroPOD features an integrated, high-efficiency hand pump. This allows you to pressurize the system manually anywhere, anytime, without worrying about wiring or power consumption.

+ Can I drink the water from the HydroPOD?

Yes. The tank is designed to hold potable water. However, like any water container, we recommend regular cleaning and using only known safe water sources to ensure it remains safe for consumption.

+ Will the hose reach the front of my truck?

Yes. The hose is 20 feet long. Even when the HydroPOD is mounted at the very back of the Active Cargo System on a long-bed truck, the hose is designed to reach the engine compartment for cleaning or front-of-vehicle rinses.

+ How long does the pressure last?

A fully pressurized tank provides several minutes of continuous spray. As the water level drops and air space increases, you may need a few additional pumps to maintain peak pressure, much like a garden sprayer.
